Housing in Milano
The project envisages the construction of a unitary block, made up of
two main buildings arranged as an L; the first building, located next to
the blind side of the adjacent house, is aligned to this one in the
height of the eaves and the inclination of roof, creating an harmonious
effect with the rest of the street. The second building is instead
located in a backward position with respect to the road. The two parts,
together with a low boundary wall, create a small courtyard, a kind of
patio with trees, which organizes the driveway and the pedestrian
entrances (photos by Edoardo Hahn).
The structural design of the building has been entrusted to Quaglia
studio.
The construction works are being directed by Paolo Locatelli.
