"Il Riparo". Metal shelter in Capalbio
In 2009, the Marsid company from Capalbio (GR)
announced a competition for the design of metal-made street furniture,
exploiting its know-how in the production of metal structures.
The design of a bus shelter became an opportunity to reflect on
primitive forms, such as those of huts and sheds and, thus, to retrieve
some archetypal forms.
Two projects were submitted by basement 15. Our second design project
“Il riparo” was selected by Marsid company, which started the production
of the
Basement
